My week in the life of Queering Systems Change
I share so that my work isnβt invisible. π³οΈβππ³οΈββ§οΈ
Because it definitely feels that way sometimes. Taking more time & space to tend to the work (& my own heath & wellbeing) means less time & energy to keep up the algorithm. π€·π»
My week, THIS week, in the life of Queering Systems Change looked like π₯π±ππ»ππ»
πβπ« Working directly with Forward Through Ferguson, and powerfully connecting as fellow bridge builders & weavers; carefully planning for generative conflict, placing power in the process & building in time to come back to foundational values.
πβπ« Initiating structure to build out & integrate a Rupture & Repair Council with a white ant!-rac!st solidarity & praxis group.
πβπ« Rooting out the failures in real time of other middle & upper class orgs teaching ant!-oppress!ve work that misses the mark in race, class & disability analysis (in order to not repeat their blind spots)
πβπ« Facilitating a HELLA good STL Queer Sangha on embodying clarity & grounding to meet infuriating delusion.
πβπ« Clearing shit off my plate - not taking on extra stuff, out planning out in advance for the rest of 2024 to give myself space; letting myself not tend to others messy thoughts & anxieties to leave room for time & paradox to do its thing without depleting my own reserves.
πβπ« Nose diving into the rabbit hole of research of other orgs & facilitators connecting somatics, post-colonial metamodern theory, collective governance & ecodharma (& giving myself space to realize Iβm very well on the right path of it all with my own offerings, collabs & projects.
And if youβve read my Substack, perhaps you could just give this post a ye olβ β€οΈππ» because you choose to witness me (and want to help support that algorithm). πβπ»
